New Year’s Anti-Resolutions

January is traditionally seen as a time to reflect on the past and look forward to the future, putting change into our lives. Here at Face Facts we are always looking to improve the service that we offer to all our clients. 

However, we don’t think that January should be a time when change is made for changes sake, with this in mind we’ve put together a list of January Anti-Resolutions!

 

 

    We will continue to be quick to respond and act on all requests from our clients.

    At Face Facts we pride ourselves on working closely with our clients, offering a bespoke service. All of our clients think of us as an extension of their own internal team.

    We work closely with our clients to ensure they receive a personalised service that supports their project needs. ‘Going the extra mile’ isn’t something we brag about – it’s just the way that we work.

    We will always be quick to respond, even if it’s just to say we’re looking into the query. We think this is important, so our clients know that their query hasn’t fallen into a black hole and it’s being attended to.

     

     

    We won’t stop making sure our data for online surveys is high quality.

    On an ongoing basis we observe the techniques used by fraudulent respondents and respond by consistently refining and enhancing our fraud detection methods. This enables us to eliminate fraudulent responses ensuring we are delivering the highest quality data on every project.

    There are multiple checks in place before participants enter our surveys; image recognition, reCAPTCHA and audio checks. We can also include location blocking (so for example with a UK survey we can apply a function which blocks respondents entering from outside the UK).

    During the survey there are attention/engagement checks and open-ended quality checks, as well as actually reading (rather than AI checks) we can identify if answers have been copied and pasted in. Plus of course the regular checks for speeders and flatliners are a given.

     

     

    We will continue to ensure that participants we recruit for qualitative sessions are amazing.

    We know the stress involved when moderating any qualitative project, particularly when end clients are watching. Here at Face Facts we pride ourselves on taking the worry out of who will be attending.

    With MRS ARQ RAS (Recruiter Accredited) trained recruiters, that we regularly work with, we know that we will find the people required. In addition, we pre-check participants, have an in-house quality checking database to ensure that repeat attenders don’t get through, help with sending/collating pre-tasks, organise signing of consent forms/NDAs, conduct tech checks (we want to ensure that everyone can participate) and can pay all incentives. 

    We want to ensure our clients can concentrate on the research safe in the knowledge that we are concentrating on the logistics.

     

    We will keep questioning.

    Our senior team has a full-service market research background, so we understand research and will always review questionnaires, be they screeners for qual recruitment or quant surveys. We sense check;

      • To make sure that routings work
      • Whether any additional routing should be added
      • If there any codes that need to be added

    Alongside the obvious requirement that the questions detailed will enable us to recruit the required participants as outlined in the criteria/quotas. We draw on our experience to make suggestions, making sure that we are clear on all requirements. We know it’s useful for a fresh pair of eyes to review any document and are happy to help with this, adding our expertise.  

     

     

    We will always get research done.

    It’s what we do! We’re not naive enough to think that everything always goes to plan (though mainly it does). We let our clients know if there is an issue and also what we are planning to do to resolve it.

    There are no nasty surprises on the day of a group or on the day fieldwork is meant to finish. Know that you are in safe hands.
