Case Study – Journey Mapping

The Challenge

We were asked to help one of our clients capture in the moment feedback on home improvement projects conducted by DIYers /Professional trade people.

The Solution

As we wanted to capture real-time responses regarding DIY/Professional projects we set out to recruit respondents who were currently undertaking a project to complete the study via a mobile app.

40 respondents were recruited to participate in a 3 day task driven activity. They had to upload images of purchases, document the projects progress via video, respond to live comments from other participants and moderators.

The client gained a wealth of information enabling them to understand purchase behaviour and influences when undertaking a DIY/Professional task.

The Outcome

We successfully provided valuable feedback and have already conducted two further studies using the same approach but with different audiences.
