Face Facts Finalists
The team at Face Facts Research based in Leeds is celebrating today having discovered they have once again made the shortlist for a prestigious Market Research Society (MRS) Operations Award, known within the sector as the ‘Oppies’.
Face Facts is thrilled to announce that the market research agency is confirmed as a finalist in the ‘Best Data Collection – Online’ category for 2021. Having won the ‘Best Data Collection – Face-to-Face’ last year becoming a finalist in the ‘Online’ category this year verifies that Face Facts has all market research bases covered for every aspect of fieldwork projects.

Finalists were announced at 11am on Friday 23rd July and Face Facts Research is delighted to make the shortlist. The MRS Operations Awards seek to recognise the ‘unsung heroes’ of market research, shining a spotlight on the operations professionals who are fundamental to keeping the research sector running. Akin to the Oscars the Oppies recognise sector excellence, best practice, and innovation.
The ‘Best Data Collection – Online’ category recognises that exceptional data is essential for influencing decisions relating to a client’s strategy, orientation, and focus. This award seeks to recognise excellence for collecting data online that has delivered outstanding results for the research process.
Talking about making the Oppies finals Rachel Hoy, Joint Owner said:
“Julie and I are delighted that we have been selected as a finalist. The awards are tough, and competition for the Oppies is fierce. Making the finals is great recognition for our team’s hard work. Our placement recognises the innovative practices and high standards of data collection we deliver at Face Facts Research. We’re thrilled to announce we have made the shortlist and can’t wait for the winners to be announced on 23rd September!”
Joint Owner, Julie Gaughan said:
“Whoop Whoop, we did it! We are finalists for Online Data Collection. We can now look forward to the awards in September and will be keeping our fingers crossed for a win.”
Jules adds: “Having won the face-to-face category last year and now being a finalist for online we just have the qualitative category to go for now…. maybe next year!?!?”

The Oppies Awards will take place on Thursday 23 September at 4pm, when winners will be revealed via an online event broadcast.
