The Challenge
One of the agencies we regularly work with wanted to investigate greetings card buying behaviour.
The Solution
As we wanted to gather real time responses at the point of purchase we set up a panel allowing respondents to log on to an appat any point over the 3 months it was running and register any card purchases.
1,400 respondents were recruited to participate and every time they purchased a card they took a photo and uploaded it. They also provided information on where they purchased it from, who it was for, suitability and price.We were able to categorise the cards from the photos and pull together a picture of purchasing patterns via a bespoke interactive portal.
The Outcome
We successfully provided valuable feedback and there are already plans to complete the process again specifically focusing on Christmas cards.
